Well according sales guy I talked to last night the truck I drove a few weeks back is indeed a 2.7 not a 3.5 ecoboost !!!!!!!!! What the *&^/#! ........that truck felt very similar powerwise to my '13 5.0 will be going this weekend to drive a 3.5 and a new 5.0......test drive results to come
I am curios about the 5.0 liter in the lighter trucks, I think its possible to get max tow with this engine now, I still like the 3.5 eco motor though!
I did a walk around on a 2015 Lariat at the Ford dealer my oldest son is a service tech at. I had a chance to play with the new tailgate step too, it's a much better design now. The truck has nice panel gaps and the body panels feel pretty tight too.
At home in my driveway. .....possession is 9/10ths the law right hahaha
That mpg # would worry me
They actually let me have it overnight ......I'm trying hard to fall in love with a new '15 but honestly it just feels like a different new truck than my '13......I'm sure it drives and rides better.......power and speed feels about same......but really the difference is subtle if noticeable at all.....my wife says she likes the '13 better ......don't get me wrong it's a damn nice truck gets a lot of looks going down road but it just doesn't knock me over with its awesomeness especially considering I'm sure it'd be at least a $15k swing in the opposite direction vs just keeping what I got......we'll see
She's pretty! Are they offering you a bunch of $$$ for yours?
Haven't talked #s .......honestly I'm not convinced I want one.......the absolute truth is I just like it because it's the latest, "greatest " .......but besides all the fluff I don't think it could beat the tar out of the truck I have.......but like I've said before the new and different factor is strong
Ahhhhh good morning hahaha
He likes it!!!! Although for the record he thought i painted the '13 black hahaha and his biggest thing is the interior smell, our '13 still has the new car smell oddly more so than this '15
CuN, now your '13 is the kind I like to get. Y'all keep trading them 2-5 year old trucks and bring the market down for the likes of penny pinching old me.
My truck is going on four years old and I still haven't got the newness out yet. My wife told me the other day that she plans to run the wheels off the Expy.
Makes me appreciate my dealer who tossed me the keys and said "see you later".
I call my guy ahead of time and, by the time I get there, the truck is parked right up front, engine running and keys/fob in it, nice and warm, and I just park my current vehicle, jump in the tester, and take off - for however long or far I want to go.
Then again, when you've bought 10 new vehicles from the same guy in the past 8 years, they tend to take care of you ...
HOLY COW!!!!! I just bought a '15 4x4 cc 3.5 ecoboost. .......pics to follow.....if wife doesn't kill me first
No congratulations in order wife would've killed me if she could. .......I just took it back and picked up my '13.......is this the shortest truck ownership ever I put like 10 miles on it......oh well maybe later this year when the '16s come out......although I was happy with the deal......happy wife happy life right
