I bought a 04 F350 w/ 03 engine brand new. It as 270,000 miles on it. It still has the original oil cooler.I have replaced the water pump, injectors, cam sensor, and ICP sensor. The engine is stock except for blue spring, and it has been a great truck. All these nay Sayers that bash the 6.0 all I can say is fiddle sticks. I had a 7.3 and wish I would have kept it, it was a good truck also. I probably just jinks myself.
I bought a new fifth wheel toy hauler (16,000 lbs loaded) and thinking about buying a new 350. But I don't know any thing about those new engines. What do you folks think. Is it time to go for something new or just see what I can get out of the old 6.0. I don't want to start working on the thing. Time and miles are not on my side.
At what point does one get a dually? pulling that big O trailer does one need a dually? Thanks!
