Radio/power window problem

I have a '95 f350 single cab,
I recently tried to install a pioneer head unit into the truck, wires everything up all worked well. When I hit the door lock as well as power window switch the radio goes into protect mode. Any ideas?
Thanks

Did you use a radio harness adapter?

I used the adaptor for the truck. I'm going to buy another just to be sure, but I am stumped. Why would the locks and windows tie into this at all?

I'm not sure, but do the radio and door functions all on the same/similar fuse? If not, how did you wire the connections? Did you solder them or use a crimp connection? It would appear there is a relay shared between the power windows and radio. I read about this somewhere else.. IIRC, Ford is notorious for this in most of it's vehicles.
