Tires?

Somehow, I imagine that avoiding hydroplaning wasn't a high priority for BFG when they designed this tire, but...just out of curiosity, how fast are you going when you notice the hydroplaning starting?

Tires?

I don't know a lot about the other two tires, but MT/Rs are rated for like 50K on the goodyear website, and mine are really awesome in mud. My advice, wait until right before hunting season and buy the tires and then you will have great tires before they ever get worn by asphalt, plus they will help you through winter. then either use them for a solid 2 or 3 years like this or take them off during the spring/summer seasons to save your tread and money by having a set of summer tires.

Tires?

I have had bfg mt, bfg at, good year mtr, and now i have parnelli jones dirt grips. They are by far the bast looking and riding tire i have owned. The goodyear mtr's were the worst. They looked good for the first 1000 miles or so but then they rode like crap, couldnt balance and roared. I have had the PJ's for about 7000 miles now and they still ride great and i still have more than 2/3 of the tread left. They balance pretty good for a 36" mud terrain. And tehy ride awsome. I still cruise on at around 90 on the interstate and they ride smooth as all terrains. Just my .02

Tires?

I’m running ’35 Pro Comp AT and have about 10,000 miles on them and they still look new. Great tire with a nice little hum at highway speed. Nothing major. Wear is even and no complains in bad weather. On my old truck I after the stock Tiger Paw’s went out (at 40,000 miles) I got a set of BFG Long Trial tires. That was a great tire, I had them replaced at about 90,000 but they still had plenty of tread left and the main reason I replaced them was because I got a good price on a new set. Then at 120,000 I traded my old truck in for my new one & the tire were still good. I’d add the Long Trail to your list and also America’s tires sell a tire called Pathfinder that is made by BFG at a really good price.
