Block Heater Help

Hello all! Just wondering if someone can help me with this real quick. I have a new to me 1998 f150, and I have a long red cord wrapped in wire loom that looks like a male house ac plug on one side by the opening in the front bumper, and the other end is a red female plug that looks like it has three openings for prongs. From my research i'm hoping that this is a block heater but for the life of me I can't find a freeze plug that has something on it. I looked on the drivers side by the motor mount but I don't know where else to look

any advice would be great.

again its a 98 f150 4x4 4.6l auto

That sounds like a block heater cord to me.
The heater should be on the drivers side between the bell housing and the
motor mount.
Is that where the cord terminates?
I am thinking someone has removed it because of a coolant leak and installed
a freeze plug in it's place.
Because the female end is not connected, I would remove the cord to
prevent shorting or electrocution incase someone plugs in it in by mistake.

It may have been an inline heater. Look at the lower rdiator hose. It may have been cut in two and the heater element installed at onetime. Possibly the hose has been replaced and heater is gone.
