Richmond CA vs. Richmond VA?

How can I tell if my 51 F1 was built in Richmond CA or Richmond VA? I do not have the complete history, but the last three owners (which is most of it) all come from around the Richmond, Sacramento, and Auburn CA towns. The truck has little to no rust on it, which tells me it probably spent it life in CA rather than somewhere else. The firewall serial tag says: F1H1RH3519 RIC

Thanks everyone!

Oops, I accept the blame here. I've assumed RH was in Virginia. Seems I've learned something.

Please also post that firewall stamping for the guys to decipher for you. Stu

There was a Norfolk plant in Virginia, designated NR. But RH is for the now defunct Richmond, CA plant.

This was the gotcha, the chart doesn't list the states. All my M-Hs have been from HM, CH, and LU. SP and KC for my 2wds. Honestly never heard of the city of Richmond, CA. Stu

Edit - okay, where the heck is/was it? Google Earth just spins without showing it, and the iPhone maps app drops a pin in Ontario, Canada!! Stu

No, neither one of my 52s. And only my 50 F-3, Ranger, and KC '51 have them. The SP '51 has the later style glove box plate, no firewall plate, and no cowl stamping. Stu

Richmond Ca is off I 80 just east of the SF/Oakland bay bridge maybe 10 miles. "EDIT" Sorry, I meant NE of SF N of the bay bridge. I get lost in a bath tub. LOL

Yeah, if I spelled out California it showed it. But not with the abbreviated CA. Stu
