Members.....So as of today I no longer own a SuperDuty....I really enjoyed the Ford Truck Enthusiasts Form. At times it was very helpful and I hope I contributed by posting useful information. To all members be safe ....
I traded my 2013 F250 4WD Platinum in for a 2015 Chevy Silverado HD 2500 Crew Cab 4WD with a 6.0 gas motor. I really moved down in truck....but I had built up a fair amount of equity in the Ford......I will admit ......I will miss that SuperDuty.....400hp / 800 lbs torque......That truck really moved my small trailer down that highway....
I see. I really like the new 2015 GMC Denali trucks. (I like the looks more than the Superduty) With gas prices over 1.25 a gallon lower in some parts, I can see why you switched if you don't need the power.

My neighbor recently purchased a GMC Danali and I got to say the mirros look almost like the current Super Duty, but dare I say they look better.
Smoke2008,
Feel free to chime in and give us an update on how the Chevy is holding up.
I would not keep my truck either in that case. Mine goes in when I get back to Vegas in order to look at the poor fuel economy. Level ground is sitting at around 15 and that's unacceptable compared to the 19-20 in my old 2011 6.7.
I've had a 6.0 Gasser 2500 Chevy before - not a bad truck. Back then diesel and gas were closer together in price. The mileage in the gasser was a lot worse than a diesel. THe best part is the Chevy drives like a car that can tow "light" trailers.
Unlike other forums we won't bash you for selling the Ford and driving a Chevy. So stick around and let us know how good or bad the new ones are.
Dim Sum - I agree on the mileage issue... have similar concerns.
So why trade....? I am a contractor and I put a lot of miles on my work truck....I have only had this truck 17 months and it had almost 59,000 miles. I usually keep the truck 2 to 3 years ....This was my 3rd SuperDuty since 2008....Yes there has been issues with this truck....and the lack of support from Ford Motor Company did not sit well with me. I am just thankful I was not experiencing very serious issues that some members have had.....The SuperDuties are awesome trucks.....and I sure miss it. The Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 4WD crew cab is a very good .....it's a very loaded LT packaged truck ....The 6.0 gas motor.....gets 10.4 - 12.0 mpg pulling my small trailer...and I do my best to keep the rpm's below 2000......that somewhat helps ....but I still expect to spend $900.00 - $1300.00 in fuel each month. After driving a SuperDuties for the past 6 years....it's sure different driving the Chevy....The Tow mirrors on the SuperDuty are way better .....The Chevy Tow mirror are not the same...and not having diesel with that 800 lbs of torque....I miss so much. I think the 2500 HD will do well for me.....I will take very good care of it.....just like I did the Superduties.......I will visit the forum ....and post comments if they can help someone in need .....and at times let yall know my progress with the Silverado 2500 HD ....with the gas engine.......Thanks for being KIND to me.....for not currently owning a SuperDuty.........Be safe.
You're not the only one that doesn't own a blue-oval product that visits this site. I share my RAM experiences with these members if they have any questions about that. Always good to share information as many vendors seem to use the same parts across different manufacturers (Bosch components, Delphi Components, etc...).
I also have to say, I keep coming back to this forum because of the open-minded and more objective view of the members of this forum .

Good luck with your new Chevy! I understand the deal about lack of support.
But it was from the side you are going to, I had purchased a new GMC with the naturally aspirated 6.2 diesel.. The engine gave no problems, but the other stuff that gave problems found Mr Goodwrench out to lunch! I think that all of the manufacturers will hang a person out to dry if they get a chance!
