Headswap cost?

Headswap cost?
Has anyone paid for a head swap? If so how much did it end up costing you? I just don't have the time to do this.
I can get a cheap set of GT-40 Irons and would love that extra 20hp or so..

It'll probably be in the same range as having your head gaskets changed, with the exception of an hour or two of labor to make adjustments and a little fine tuning.. I'd do it for $550.00.
And I don't know much about your rig, so it may be higher, may be lower. Get back to us, thanks... Good luck....

Allright, that's about the price I was thinking.
See...my rear intake gasket leaks as do my valve covers AND I need a new waterpump so I may as well fix my leaks, swap the heads, install some roller rockers, and toss in a mild cam while its all apart.

Yes, I'd see picking up 20-40hp more with this.
Mildly ported GT-40 irons (basic gasket matching, maybe smooth bowls). Stock valve springs are good to ~.490 lift or so.
Roller cam, roller lifters
266/276 cam ~.472/.472 115lsa
1.7 Crane roller rockers
So I figure I will have close to 250-275hp after all that!
