I'm looking for a leveling kit for my 2001 F-250 7.3 Powerstroke (159,000 miles)…and got the idea from some threads on this site to just replace the front leaf springs with Procomp 22210's. Given the age/mileage of the truck, this seems to make more sense than just going with an Icon or Tuffcountry leveling spring pack. However, when I did a search online, I've come up with some conflicting info. I'm new to the forum, and was having trouble attaching photos, so I'm including the URL's for the two sites. Summit Racing shows this spring pack as the only choice for the 7.3 http://www.summitracing.com/parts/exp-22210
THe one from NTW specifically states it's for a diesel, and it has the flat lower leaf. Is it just that the photos are not accurate, or are there different variations of the 22210 out there? Seeing as it's the weekend and I can't call these places, I thought I'd throw it out to the forum….Can anyone shed some light on this, or recommend the best place to get these? Also, they seem to come with bushing but not new U-bolts…. where I can find the u-bolts I need? Thanks!
Welcome to the site lots of good info & people with tons of knowledge here & always willing to help with advise.
I bought a pro comp leveling kit from 4wheelparts.com years ago I think it was 2.5" & it came with shocks & all the mounting hardwear. I upgraded to adjustable shocks which was a waste because I never change them. I looked on there web site & couldn't find the kit sorry. But anyhow I just wanted to tell you truck looks a helluva lot better & I swear it rides better. & just make sure what ever springs you get are rated for our super heavy diesel motors. Good luck.

The adjustable shocks (Rancho XL) are the best thing I ever got. Use them all the time: Setup 10/10 for highway, 1/10 for city.
Wish I had the in-cab controller!
