OT: Hobbies, skills?
I also like rock climbing, but as the waist gets bigger, and the joints and muscles get older, the climbing seems to be getting harder. Oh well, I make a great belay anchor.
I grow my own Rhododendron bushes, Concord Grape Starts, Everbear Red Raspberrys I have several patches one being over 100 feet long, and have over 100 Rhubarb plants. I meet a lot of older people as I sell the Rhubarb and they love it. I use the chicken Poo for the Rhubarb along with Leaf Mulch. I Planted 25 Asparagus crowns (starts) Last year and cant wait for that to take ahold
I also pick Elderberrys from my place, they grow wild here. If you have never picked them before you have no idea how time consuming the process is. Last year we picked over 40 quarts-that's a boat load! They are a "Swamp Berry" and grow in low marshy areas. I have 10 acres here and the way in the back is very wet which is what the elderberrys need.
I have 12 mature fruit trees and I grow from seed my own Peach trees. These are an old non geneticly altered White peach, about 20 (a few now are old enough and produce fruit now)
I put in a decent size garden with a lot of zucchini and green beans.
Cant forget I have a wife and 3 kids, I Really enjoy these activities with the family!
I'm pretty good at this computer stuff. I should be since I've been doing it for a living for the past 17 years.
I try to stay active. I got into running a couple years ago, but due to an injury, it looks like I'm going to have to give that up.
I also enjoy team roping, shooting(black powder mostly) and being a lay pastor at the Cowboy Church I attend.
Obviously I need to retire to have time for all.

Our largest build: 21 feet tall, 275 pounds, 12" diameter flew on a "P" motor with 1500 pounds of thrust. And I can't get the picture to attach... so I guess it didn't happen.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
My main hobby besides trucks is playing the drums. ( as can be seen by my avatar) Ive been playing for about 12 years now. I played all through out school and was the section leader of the drumline in 11th and 12th grade. I played in the competition jazz band and also for a few musicals in my area. I had a band for a while that did a few gigs in the area but that fell apart after a while. Im currently teaching the drumline at my old high school.
Ive always been an outdoors guy as well. I was in scouts and am still somewhat involved in my troop. I'm an eagle scout with two eagle palms. One of my favorite trips was a 67 mile canoe trip down the Allegheny river. I go hunting and fishing a lot as well.
Its cool to see what all everybody does on here. Some really adventurous people on here.
I love to take our caravan and hit the forest and find a lake and just "be" for a weekend, maybe some fishing but not necessary.
And I love math. Yeap I have been working with it for almost 10 years but I still love it, engineering math and solid mechanics calculations

A few Sig Sauer
I have several other hobbies... Old motorcycles (currently have a 1962 HD Sportster XLCH, hope to find room and finish it some day), Firearms and shooting them, computers and remodeling mom's house (this is me, trying to be a good son).... So far installed tankless water heater (this is the second one in 20 years), tiled kitchen, family room, rebuilt kitchen cabinet, replaced both bathroom cabinets, counter tops in both bathrooms with hardware and plumbing...
Way too many hobbies, way too little time....
Most anything old car and truck related, motorcycles (I got my motorcycle license before I had a driver's license), canoeing, kayaking, jetskiing, water skiing, camping, bird hunting, some woodworking, etc, etc, etc. I've recently become interesting in genealogy and have been helping my uncle dig deep into the past.
My 9th great grandfather came over to the US from England in the 1630's and was the first pastor of the Braintree Church (in Boston). His is the oldest surviving gravestone in the old Hancock Cemetery where President Adams was buried.
There's great stories out there
