Where do these go?

I was looking through a box of parts for my 49 F1

that I had packed away awhile back and I came across these. I'm currently replacing much of the rubber and seals and I'd like to use this if I can. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I'm also looking to get rid of these parking brake parts ( I wish I would have remembered I had them when I put mine together!) Either way, I don't know if they are off my original rear end or the 9" that's under it right now. I believe the 9" is from an early Bronco? Let me know if you can identify which one it might belong to so I can advertise it appropriately. Thanks!

If the windlace is the seal that goes between the hood and the cowl, mine is woven cloth over rope like that.

I just purchased one for the cowl and it's rubber. Do you have a picture by chance so I can see which way it is installed? Thanks,

How did you hook up the 9" parking brakes? Are you using the orig handle e-brake that came with the f1? Any pics?

I did use the original pull and cable to the junction in the back. I bought some Lokar cables to hook them to the front original cable. I was planning on posting a little tutorial at some point, but the truck is in the body shop right now and I haven't taken any pictures yet, sorry. I'll try to post some pictures when I get it back. I can also look up which cable kit I used.

My first thought when I saw the windlace material.... GM or 40s passenger car.

Self adjusting brakes introduced in 1964 F100 2WD and 1967 F100 4WD.

So the self adjuster cables and the cable guide cannot be from a 1957/58 F100, 1959/63 F100 2WD or 1964/66 F100 4WD

Part # or some lead to the cable kit would help... Thanks

The part number that is on the package is S-8071. It should be a kit that includes 2 rear cables and a bunch of parts to connect it to your front. I really wish I would have taken pictures so I could show you how it hooked up to the front original cable. I'll be sure to share when I get it back. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks Bill! It must be off the 9" rear. Anyone need these? $15 and I'll pay for shipping.
