HPOP line thread dimension...

They bear the semblance of 1/2x20 tpi- is that a straight flare thread? What are the sizes, the nomenclature of HPOP and the fuel line fittings- JIC, PG, ISO? Factory BOHICA? Don't mistake the quality and depth of my affection for these trucks. I love her so. Yet is it inferential that this has possibilities of developments Freudian? Heh.

ford has their patent on the fittings at the hpop. Tried going the route of having my own made, only to find, the hpop fittings were a one-off design. So, only other option was to buy/make ur own using/changing to a straightto jic fitting off the hpop. Some "fab" company sells the kit with lines for $129.00 std...cant beat that unless u own ur own hose shop.

I'm pretty sure the fittings are just a standard ORB thread. Nothing special about them; you can get them from hydraulics shops that sell Eaton Aeroquip products last I checked.

its the quick disconnect style fittings, that are ford only product, is what i was going after...but ya, think the heads are #5orb and hpop is #6orb

It's not a Ford-only product. They're Eaton STC (snap-to-connect) fittings. They're used in a lot of applications, and readily available.
