Pedals??
Hey Dude,
Man, the Auto Parts Stores are all carrying those pedals. Ever since the "Fast & the Furious", the shelves ae loaded with "Rice Burner" parts.
The even have neon lit pedals with dragons on them.
From what I have seen, they look like they have at least two screwed on metal straps, that secure the pads to your vehicles existing pedals.
Typically you only get a Brake and Gas pedal, but I have seen 3 piece kits that include the clutch pedal, as well.
My concern about them, is can you get them on tight enough to stay in place for a long period of time? I don't know the answqer to that.
In regards to secure mounting, I think I would have a tendency to go with the pedals that have actual mounting "bolts", that you can get a socket on, instead of phillips screws.
They appear to be really easy to install, however, I don't know if they rquire you to remove your existing rubber pads or not.
If they go over the exisiting pad, they will add a lot more pedal than you are use to.
For the most part, they are normally purposely made/molded with a non slip surfaced, like racing pedals.
I don't know if that is a plus or minus for normal around town driving, cause your foot does have a tendency to stick/stay on a pedal. They would take some getting use to.
