I would love to do led lights, but they just cost way too much for my budget. I got 2 100 watt halogen of road lights for less then 30 bucks. I think the last price I saw for led lights was about 90 each!
I'll post some pictures when I'm done with the project.
I'm not sure where you shop. I have a bunch of these. 2 on my dually, 4 on my tractor and put 4 on my brother Polaris Ranger(brighter than his factory headlights)

Those look like a pretty good deal, but I got a chuckle out of their description of these as "work fog driving" lights. Terms that in the auto lighting world are mutually exclusive. I guess you just treat them as work lights and call it good.
got it done today. here are the daytime pictures. tonight after dark i'll take a few more.

This one shows the custom tool box mount i made for the back rack. it makes the tool box sit lower. the factory tool box mounts make the box sit up about 2 inches... which i think is ugly...
My bad. i have the FLOOD light

I bought (2) 74mm (about 3") 12V 10W LED flood lights meant to be attached to the bottom of a pond and illuminate a fountain. $20 for the pair!
Ebay.CA.... China... Yada, yada..
They took two weeks to get to Connecticut from Shenzen.
They are meant to spend their life underwater.
They should be able to handle rain and snow.
I wired then to my dome light circuit as worklights for my bed.
I have no problem with the fuse popping or anything.
These short winter days mean i go to work in the dark and come home in the dark.
If both of them together are less load than one of your turn signal bulbs, then I doubt you need a relay at all.
If look back from the cab, it seems the world is lit up.
And mine are pointing into the bed!
Stoked on the idea. I was backing up off road on a moonless night and almost backed into a ditch. Blamed it on the equipment and wired up some auxiliary reverse lights myself. They are on a waterproof relay, switched by the stock reverse hot wire, and powered from the battery. I may do the 3-way option later but I'll see how this works for now.
