The Marine Corps is a personnal decision to serve your country in one of the most respected fighting forces in the world. They also give you the tools to receive an education. The Marine Corps expects you to take responsibility for your future. So once you leave active service, it's all on you.

It reminded me of the first leader of my party, Keir Hardy, in the early part of the 20th century.
He was a man who used to correspond with the Pankhursts, the great campaigners for women's votes.
