No problem buddy.I honestly had to think even after doing SO many sets.
Wish Gabe would let me fix his. I have been daily driving cClifford here for a while and my seats are just delightful. I wonder how Kevin's set is treating him...though I know mistress is not a winter vehicle.
Thanks Thomas for putting that together since I never successfully documented it properly lol
The seat is great Aaron. I have not driven my truck since the middle of Sept, dang Mustang, my wife got to drive it to my house from her dad's a couple a weeks ago.Nice write up Thomas. The seat really does sit and ride a lot better now. Thanks again for the repair.
Has anyone tried to order foam online and custom shape it using old foam for a template?
I don't anticipate it would be too hard to do it that way, albeit it more costly. It would allow for a good mix of firm/soft using different types though.
The main issue would be that there is a very tough Velcro made into the foam to give the pull down for the contours. Of the sets I personally done I have not seen any that bad to need replaced.really the biggest issue is who ever built the seats for ford is they were incomplete. I guess the bean counters ruined our seats too.
