Accessing ant. jack for CD changer install.
How do I access / remove the dash pannel from in front of my stock stereo? Want to hook up a 6 disc changer. Already got the 12V power, just need the antenna. Anybody. It's a 2002 F150 XL.
I wish someone would make a changer that has a low power RF transmitter so I wouldn't have to tear into things.

Does your stereo have two holes on each side of the stereo...one inch above one another? If so, go to Walmart and buy the Ford keys in the car audio section. They are shaped like this >>U<< and cost $3-$4. Use those to pull the stereo out (it slides right out, with pretty much no effort) and you will have access to the antenna plug. When you're done, the stereo just slides right back in.
