From the sounds of it definitely under a grand. If it's a 4wd truck then it probably has a 360 not a 390 no 4x4 came with a 390 from factory. Only way to tell them apart is by measuring the stroke which is 360=3.50" stroke 390=3.75" stroke. It could be a t18 also could be a np435 if it's an NP435 it will have a round cup at the top of the shifter tower and uses a pin on each side of the shift tower press down on the cup and turn to take out the shifter. Probably either a Dana 24 t case or NP205 if 4wd.

It is 4x4. I don't think it's worth more than a grand and I offered 500 for it. My friends gonna get some pictures of it tonight hopefully and then i will post then here and you guys can tell me what you think. I heard somewhere but I don't know if it's true at all that a green interior is more rare and more valuable than any other color?
Ok I wasn't to sure.. maybe it was the 80s trucks that were rarer with a green interior... I don't know though. Owell I just hope the guy sells this truck for like $400 or $500 at the most
That is a 73-75 F-250 with a 360 and more likely a NP-435. Find a good cab and front clip for that frame as it does have a front axle, instead of converting the other one.

I may do that.. this is all up in the air right now though to but if I can get this truck ill get it even if I don't make the othere one 4x4 as much as I'd like to
^ yup he called it FE engine and all. Looks to have been used and put to pasture. Did he say it ran when parked or not?
Im not sure if it ran or not. I think it did but I'm not 100% sure. I have the carburetor that was on it now and it's on my truck so I can't even try it unless I buy it then throw a carb that I have on it. What would you guys say it's worth? I offered $400 for It and he's still thinking about it
It's really worth what your willing to pay for it. If the drivetrain and frame all look good and usable then I'd say under a grand and it's an ok deal. With sealing over to a 4x4 and add all parts time ect. You will probably be wrapped up in more money then just buying a rolling chassis ready for a body.

Im not really worried about time since I enjoy doing this stuff...and in the long run I think it would be better so I quit getting stuck
