Towing option

Looking to buy an edge to replace my 07 Escape and had a question on the tow package.
I want the tow package and the 2500 load rate is fine for me. Question is, is there wiring already istalled our will i have to go after market?

The Edge with the V6 comes with a 3500 lb towing rating and has a 4-prong plug mounted under the back bumper next to the hitch.

Thank you for that info. Had just has a quick look when I test drove 1 last week, and didnt see it.

If the model you test drove had the tow package then the wiring was there. It is tucked up under the bumper and the 4-prong has a cap over it to keep it clean.
