headlight flip modification
on the 2012 sd is it possible to mod the headlight/turnsignal assy to put the headlight on top as with the f250 of earlier generations.

Something to consider is if there are laws in your state that dictate the maximum legal height for the center of the headlight. I seem to remember reading something a while back about such restrictions in an article related to lifting trucks.
I suspect that the headlights being placed on the bottom generally makes it so that your headlights are slightly less blinding to oncoming drivers, especially with how high these trucks sit from the factory. I do agree that it would look good the way the picture above shows with the proposed swap, but there may be a practical reason for the way it is set up.

I checked!
our shop has an 2015 F 350 I measured the center of the "turn signal" and I got 44 1/2 inches. My state law max is 54 inches.
