Why do you own your Excursion?

What made you get your first one. What made you take that first step into man(or Christina)hood?

Had a 10,000lb boat until all California's water went away. Now have a 14,000lb Toyhauler. Also didn't want to pay the extra weight fees this state charge for p/u trucks.

I get that you are being light hearted by it, but I think that old joke has been beat to death.

Shoot, I can barely keep one wife happy, who in their right mind would want two or more, all in the house making sure that you are doing exactly what they want. No thanks!

As for why I have an Ex, well, it is my second one, I always regretted getting rid of the first one, so I finally got around to making up for that stupid decision all those years ago.

I agree, 4 kids, 10,000lbs trailer and my wife uses the truck for daycare when not transporting our kids or the trailer.

Sorry I just got done watching Big Love a third time through a few weeks back so it was just on my mind is all. There is no way in hell you could get me another wife, I can't even handle the one half the time!

I do marine salvage and tow one of three boats at any time. I also needed enough room to fit 3-4 guys and dive gear. The Ex lets me keep it all warm and secure and can pull all our boats with ease. My winch plus the weight of the Ex means I'm a pretty good anchor for winching people when they get stuck. I love my truck and can't imagine how used to get by with a tiny suburban.

Wanted a suv that I could use for my work, hunt, kayak fish, and carry my daughter son-in-law and 2 grandkids plus my wife and I without renting a van when they visit. Added plus is it will be great for weekend trips, load the hell out of it.

The excursion is all the above plus it's like driving a large couch, very comfortable.
