Ok, the wife's 2010 Ex is having a strange issue. It is slightly leaking fuel on fill up. It seems to be running down the outside of the filler neck. The truck has one of the newer no cap necks and was wondering the best place to start trouble shooting this.
My wife and I each have a FoMoCo with this style filler so I'm going to keep watching this thread. Fortunately for us neither of us have had this issue though.
Is the fuel leaking from behind the fender on to the ground? Do you smell fumes fuel fumes when you are not at the pump? Are you or your wife know to try to squeeze a bit more fuel in to the truck after the pump shuts off, maybe to round up the nearest dollar?

It's leaking down behind the fender. I crawled under to look when I put some in, and it appears to be running down the fill hose and dripping off the upturn before it gets to the tank.
It's not an overfill problem, as it starts well before it gets close to full. I need to see if it is having problems with the pump styles out here. We use evap recovery pumps nearly everywhere out here, but there are a couple traditional pumps too.
Lapel, no fumes otherwise either.
