Question help needed
Have an 89 Ranger that I need help identifying a sensor/switch located on passenger side (right side) of transmission. Not sure of the function it is threaded with 2 wires any ideas???🚑

Manual or automatic? If manual, I would guess it's for the backup lights.

I have an 88 with a manual and the switch is for the reverse lights. It will proably be the same on your truck. If your truck is a manual.
