First 2 pics. are of the fuse, 2nd is where it goes(positive battery terminal) 3rd is where it goes the other way through the firewall, and last is where it appears to connect to the fuse block.
If the fuse is blowing, it is drawing too much amperage. It could be an intermittent short to ground. If so, you are asking about one of the hardest things to track down that I know of. If all else fails, remove the wire and replace it with a new one.
It HAS to be shorting somewhere beyond the fuse. Can you follow where it goes to? Prob an open wire shorting to ground where he cut it off.
That is possible, or it could be a (unrelated) wire that was bared when the old remote starter was removed, or some other time from some other cause. The fuse does not seem to be blowing immediately by what the OP is saying so it being a simple direct short to ground does not seem likely.
Maybe the OP can clarify that. Is the fuse blowing immediately when you turn on the ignition?
If not, does it blow when you turn on any particular system, such as the heater or hit the brake pedal (activating the brake lights)?
A bit more information could help to figure this out.
