ok i have a 2003 ford f 350 with the 6.0 and after last weekend now when i go in reverse and back up slow its fine but if back up and use the padel a bit it shutters bad now i have allmost 200k on the tranny fuild is clean but has been flushed 3 times in its life by ford dealer. and i think i can feel it under hard pull with trailer on in forward too. what are your thoughts on this to late to save or think i can patch it to last me so i can save some money to get one thanks
Sounds like it's damaged and the bad news is that you can't reverse damage. Once it's done it's done.
If you had access to be able to do so through a computer tune, you could raise the line pressure and that might help a little. Maybe. Even then, if it helped at all for a while it wouldn't be a fix.
baby it until it dies or you can afford to fix it. If you were closer I would gladly look at it for you.
