That's gonna be something I look at when I get some help guys, I'm thinking it may be a ****ty master because im not losing fluid anywhere, but for it to just go bad all of a sudden is odd
if the seal between the front and rear circuit in the master goes bad you will get exactly like you are describing. the master will bypass the one circuit and you will have almost no stopping power.
I seem to recall reading that you have to bench bleed the master cylinder before installing it or it won't bleed correctly and you'll have a soft pedal. Or am I remembering incorrectly? If I do remember correctly, then if you had a bad master cyclinder and replaced it without bench bleeding it you'd still have the same problem.
Of course if I'm not remembering correctly than pitch this whole response in the bit bucket and call me a taxi to the local old folks home.
Bench bled for about 10 minutes until I could barely push anymore and no bubbles...think I got a ****ty master
