Brings back some not-so-fond memories of my Spitfire. I drove it from Illinois down to Tampa for Spring Break in '73. It was using oil at a rate of a quart per hour, so I bought some "re-refined" oil in Georgia. By Ocala it was toast. Towed it to Tampa and rebuilt it in my grandmothers carport.

ross, this guy did essentially the same thing over 11 months. must have been the time to stop and take pictures.
