Fuel Leak 6.0L 2004 F350

I have a fuel leak that is coming from under the hood. The leak is dripping onto the ground from the passenger side under the hood of the engine. It looks like it is following a hose from up top and then drips. In looking over the engine I don't see a leak but the housing and the area around the top fuel filter and fuel regulator housing is wet. Also i noticed that on the underside of the hood there is a buildup of black oily substance, like it may be fuel accumulating dirt. It appears directly above the same area.

From a previous post it looks like a blue spring upgrade is in order. But are there other things I should check out first?

You may want to check what kit you get to be sure it has
the seals that you need for your year. Some of the kits
come with less extras.

I did not need the new cover so the kit I got was one that
did not have that in it.

Dry the filter housing off with some oil and grease remover
turn the key on and see if you can find the location.
If the leak is down on the head then it would be the 2 copper
crush washers that seal the banjo bolt to the fitting and head.
That "could" drip onto the belt and be flung around. But most likely
it up at the housing and dripping from there. Also check the top
cap O-ring for any pinches or tares.
