Minion had her first Honor Choir concert last night and she was wonderful.
I finally got a shifter boot for the truck and installed it. Wow what a difference that makes. Now that it is a bit quieter in the cab I have to be careful not to push it too hard. I don't want to blow it up before I get the other motor built.
I also received the proper filler neck grommet for the hole in the cab. I found a NOS one on ebay for $10 after shipping. I will be putting that on sometime today, and removing what ever it was that someone rigged on it with plastic, a screw, and silicone.
I have to wait on my window/door seal kits and floor mat since I over spent on the wife and minion for xmas. That and I am now needing machine shop $$.
It is funny to see how such little things make it feel like so much has been accomplished. The shifter boot alone made it feel like driving a different truck. It is much quieter and a lot less drafty.
The fuel neck thing on there now has always bugged me, so I am glad I found the proper part. I had just planed on welding it up when I got to the body work.
Yeah, it's been tough finding any time lately, with it either being too cold, or just being too busy, running kids around to various sports/ activites. I'm hoping tomorrow, should be in the 50's here. I want to try and get the dash mocked up. Then I need to find a seat.

All this talk about project trucks makes me miss the Bronco. I loved fixing that up a little at a time. By the time I sold it, it was 10 times better than when I got it.
Greg-Its sounds like the truck is coming along great! Im so glad that it went to someone that wants to fix it up & drive it! Jimmy barely fixed it up from when he had it or drove it.
Morning everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Donna, I love the truck and drive it almost everyday. I wish I had the type of money to do things faster. It will get done eventually, as the budget allows. Once the engine rebuild is complete, I will be able to focus one the cosmetic aspects. I still try to grab things when I find them a really good price if I have the $$.
Well, it's Sunday & the end of the weekend is here. Now what? I'm bored.
Maybe I'll go to church or maybe I'll go Christmas shopping instead. It's so cold out lately that I just want to curl up in a blanket next to the fire & watch TV. Hmm...which one should i do?
