Hi,
New member over here, looked around a bit last days now im making a project thread. (i've read the 'read first' but can't figger out were to make the real thread so if its wrong just say or move it ) Oh And my English is not always that good.
I'm 21 years old and bought the truck when I was 20. Always was a dream to have a 'round' fifties truck, ford trucks inspired me and after some thinking and reading i've made a dission to buy a Ford. After many searching and hard working because i'm stil a student and don't have any huge budget to change massive things or do anything I want. So it was not easy to find a good truck, it has to be a project that was my budget. I live in the Netherlands and these trucks are very expensive here (in the USA also but here they are less common).
One day i searched the web and there it was, a cool project truck with allot of attitude. A very nice paint color so I calt and went the next day to watch. After a good look and laying under the car for about half an hour to watch everything. (stil have missed some things that I should see but I was not foreign with electronic automatic gearboxes) also the engine was not what I want but that had to deal. Enough say here are some pictures.
Plans:
Making it work again, the car is in Europe since 1993 and never has a legal set of papers on it and licence plates so I wil be the first owner to ride it legal when it's ready.
Just make the car back to what is should be, have plans to lower it just 2-3 inch but they wait when I have money free to buy other springs (have been thinking the lowering set from MidFifties).
Day I bought the truck (happiest day of my live!)
The bucket/bed (don't how u guys say it) was toasted in my eyes and I was planning to build a new one with a mate:
Interior needs some of anything:
Find a cheap buy on the net:
Still need a new color and front tyres are to small so they wil get new ones:
4,6 v8 Modular Ford from a T-Bird 1995:
New tyres ready to fit to see if the size is good:
Much better:
Getting rid of the bed so I can take it appart and make some measerments:
Have a mate powdercoated the rims:
Looks killer in my opinion:
Parts:
Moving the Ford to a other home with my other Ford:
New bed, made from 3 mm sheat metal. To have more axle pressure and more stiffnes:
Helping my mate with making the bed:
Ready for fithment and a epoxy coat for rust (still neet to adjust some things):
Fits like a charm!:
Have it back from the painter:
Putting new brakes on it and painting the axles and springs:
Front axle was damaged alot so I took it away to two brothers. They made some new bushings in it.
New bearings, kingpins and greasenipples:
Shift computer:
Exhaust tips:
That's it updates will come, If I did something wrong making this thread or something I'm sorry about it.

Limburger is actually a very tasty mild soft cheese. The smell goes away after the first bite or two. I have a brick in the refrigerator right now. I like it on a good crusty rye bread, a slice of sweet onion, salt and pepper, with a good ice cold beer.
There used to be an excellent cheese factory just outside Buffalo that made the best Limburger. It was sold at most grocery stores in the Buffalo area in one # bricks. Now there are only two cheesemakers in the world producing limburger, the one in Germany and one in Wisconsin and it only comes in 6 oz blocks. The domestic version is much better than the German one IMHO, but both are hard to find. Here Kroger sells the domestic, Whole Foods sometimes has the imported.
