Well since my valve cover gaskets need to be replaced as does the rear intake gasket I believe, I think I am going to install a set of 1.7:1 Crane roller rockers on my F-150 at the same time...they are very easy to come by as they came on 93-95 Mustang Cobra's.
So... with that, I need to know the stock cam specs inorder to order the proper valve springs. I need to know: duration, lift, and lsa.
Oh and should I use new retainers or would the stockers be okay?
Thanks!

I got this info from a Ford Racing tech. While it is for a 1990 model year EFI302 truck engine, I'm sure the 1988 cam had the same specs(horsepower&torque ratings were the same). The stock cam has 185 intake/193 exhaust degrees@.050" and .379" intake/.395" exhaust valve lift using stock 1.6 ratio rockers. I wasn't given the lobe separation angle of this cam, but with factory Speed Density electronics, I would guess between 114-116.
