Just in case you're not aware, you have to remove the black trim, you cannot remove just the chrome trim. That aside, you need a trim removal tool to be able to release the clips behind the trim. Go to your local auto store and look for something like this: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/oes-25338/overview/
Thanks Alloro,
The parts you see as chrome used to be black. I want to pull them off so I can put a black or maybe a carbon fiber laminate on over the chrome strip
Thanks so much for your help.
1 more question if I may. Do I use this tool on the outside, no need to get inside doorframe? Slip it under one end of the trim and slide it forward to release it?
Well, 2 questions Many Thanks!

Reason: Clarity
Slip it under one end of the trim and slide it forward to release it?
Yes, you slide it along under the trim and use it to pop the clips holding the moldings on. It's kind of tough to explain, it's one of those things where if someone showed you you'd go ooooooh...so simple.
