I am Looking for a body shop in Colorado that can fix my 73 HighBoy. Had a garage fire no flame got the truck all damage was by heat that melted plastic and sooted and blistered the paint. I have all NOS plastic and some salvage parts plastic parts. Cost no object. TIA

Sorry to hear about the truck damage, welcome to FTE.

You might have better luck getting a body shop referral from folks in the state. Join the chapter while you are at it.

Have done that, even had a place that was going to do it but he got drunk and wreaked his bike an is busted up. Had another guy said he would do it but he is retiring after the 1st of the year thats a not a good deal with any problems after the repair. I restore tractors (Fords 9,2,& 8N ) had 2 in the fire and they had just been completed. I redone them but my truck is out of my league. Most body shops are take off a fender and put on a new one. TsFY Help

what part of Colorado? I could hook you up with a guy that is a couple of hours into Kansas on I-70...he does restorations and builds hotrods and has won some national awards.

I talked to him this morning...the only issue is that he is booked up for about two years...I'm assuming you want to fix it sooner than that!

No, 2yrs at my age is a long shot ,I dont even buy green bananas. Thanks for your help, he must be very good.
