Looking to purchase a 15 F350 Platinum SRW
Test drove a 15 F250 Platinum SRW this weekend. Been reading the forum for a few years and have learned a lot. Have a few questions as I'm a newbie to the 6.7. I've owned two 6.4's and currently own a 13 Raptor 6.2.
1. Does low miles or truck sitting a lot cause issues with the 6.7? Truck is basically a weekend only vehicle. My Raptor is driven approx 2500 miles a year.
2. Had RAD replaced on my 08 & 2010 6.4. Is this still and issue?
3. Has the rear sagging issue been addressed? I understand that 2011's to present had softer springs? My 2010 F350 wouldn't sag hardly at all.
4. What timeframe have you seen the most rebates being offered? Should I wait till the 16 MY comes out then pick up a 15?
Dealer has made a Great odder on my Raptor since they are no longer available. I only have 6500 miles on it. I figure I can hold out even longer since the Raptor will not lose any value.
Appreciate your feedback!

1. The 6.7s emission setup has been very reliable compared to the 6.4 and 6.0. It should be fine operating it like that, but it isn't the most ideal way of operation.
2. Same junk plastic end crimped radiators. Doesn't seem to be as problematic as the 6.4s but there are reported issues.
3. Rear springs are soft.
4. The MY 16 may be a redesign. There would be screaming deals on 15s if that were the case.

Rear springs on a F350 are soft?
I just got my 350 and have not towed with it, but I can absolutely say that the 2015 350 is not only more level (and way higher) than my 2012 250, but the rear is way stiffer too. How could the rear squat with the extra overload spring the 350 has?

Been reading some post on what folks are paying for these trucks and I'm blown away. How are folks getting 13k and 14k off MSRP? Good friend of mine is a GM for a huge Ford dealer and there is no way I can get close to this kind of discount.
Example: MSRP $67,000
X Plan $62,000
Rebate $3,000
Ford credit $1,000
Total $9,000 off
That's $58,000 + TTL.
Not sure how you can get to $14k unless you get the employee A&Z?
How can I get this Great deal?

I purchased my '14 in May of this year and ended up with a $12,500 discount over the price. Is your friends dealership a "volume" dealership?
I did purchase out of state for that reason, no one local would deal. I'd explore my options online for awhile, not like you're driving a POS (Raptor!), you should be able to locate and secure a better deal. May not be local though...

Don't know about 13-14K off, but I just got $11K off and I think that is pretty good. All about how much hardball you play and how deep into their holdback the dealer wants to go. You have to remember that dealers are not making squat on new vehicles these days, as they rely on the used market to make their money.

While I don't have a 350, my '14 has more "tail sag" than I'd like also, hasn't been an issue so far.... Rides alot better loaded down though!

Most any P.U. will ride better loaded, but there is way too much sag in the 250, which is the main reason I went to the 350. Same price, just a bit stiffer under load.
