So what in this truck besides the materials change and construction is really different, the ecoboost has been around for a while, the transmissions have been around for a while, the 2.7 is a new engine, what are the changes that make your head hurt? new diagnostics and procedures, or just the myriad changes that Ford makes too any updated platform?

Heated steering wheel, 360 degree camera, adaptive cruise, lane departure warning(with vibrating steering wheel), BLIS, park assist, just a few.

His head hurts because the online training makes you focus details that 1% of customers ask. The test are geared more of an order mentality than America's "on the lot" mentality of truck/car shopping. Not too many people care that the bed tie downs aren't standard on the 100a package, but are on everything else.

I used to think they were stupid, until last winter when I tried out the one in my wife's CUV. When it is -20F, they are actually very nice to have!

Not only that, but diagnosis of them (360 degree cameras, steering wheel, etc.) when they go wrong.

We have all that stuff on our new Lincoln. Very nice and works well but I bet it will be a nightmare when it goes south.

Hopefully not for many years.

That IMHO is the most accurate statement anyone has made to date on the new ecoboost series period!
