Ford Dealerships in Queens, N.Y. refuse to admit to Safety Issues with Ford Ranger Lighting Control Modules!!! In Two Automotive Electronic Co. I was "TOLD" that the LCM's are Defective, and present Safety Issues. Advised to go to Ford Dealerships for the LCM Recall. Front Lights Fail, Rear Lights Fail. If your "LUCKY", and Kick the LCM, your Lights might come on! It's great Driving at Night, and have your Rear Running Lights OFF, with your Light Switch ON! Cops don't care, they just like to write Tickets. And the Danger of being rear ended by a Car, or Smi Truck on a Interstate Highway means nothing to the Ford Dealerships, or maybe even Ford Co., it self. They'll just say it's my Fault, due to poor maintenance! Everything on my Truck is "NEW"!!! But the LCM blew out so many things on my Truck. The Gas Gauge reads above Full, Front & Rear Light Failure, Speedometer Died, Blinkers/ Flasher work then Fail. OK my Truck is a 2000 Ford Ranger 2.5 EV 2 Wheel Drive. But I only have 49.000 miles on it. If I put a Thousand Miles on it a year, that's a lot of Milage for me. I guess the Electrical System will Burn Out, or I'll get Killed before something might get done. Wanted to State this Ford Ethical Problem in the Ford Enthusiasts Site, just encase this LCM Defect might get me Killed. This is "SHAMEFUL" , that Henry Ford's Legacy has turned into Dollars, instead of his Promise to make it Affordable for every American to "OWN" a Ford, or Car!

I have never heard of an LCM failure in a Ranger. I've never even heard of an LCM in a Ranger. I'm not saying it's impossible for one to fail, I'm just saying it's not a COMMON problem. So I'm not surprised that all the dealerships won't admit to a defect.
