Also are 351 cleveland heads better than GT40's on this motor? I would not say better, but I will say they will take a special intake to work on your 351W engine.

Will the intake I already have for the stock heads fit with gt40 heads? Yes, but the stock truck 351W EFI intake is the next bottleneck to overcome.

What about my headers? Your headers will fit a GT40 head, but more than likely not the GT40P because of the weird plug angle.
What do you mean the stock efi 351w intake? The motor wasn't efi to begin with and it won't be efi

Hey not my fault the stone age stuff is easier to understand and I can actually work on it haha... besides I like to see my engine rather than look at 10 billion wires covering it

I talked to comp cams today and they suggested the xtreme energy 256H cam... this seems like a good cam but is it good for off roading? Also what are the differences between this cam and one of the xtreme 4x4 cams? Does anyone know the difference between the xtreme energy 256H cam and the xtreme 4x4 254H cam?

IMHO there is very little difference between those cams.

35-235-3 - Xtreme 4 x 4? Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshafts

35-234-3 - Xtreme Energy? Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshafts

Lobe Separation, Duration and Lift almost identical. Either one would fit your needs.

Ok thanks... I think I'm gonna go with the xtreme energy 256H cam. Also I'm going to the junkyard tomorrow to see if I can find any gt40 heads
