Single vs. dual steering stabilizer?

So I'm interested in putting a new steering stabilizer on my truck and am pretty set on the Rancho RS7000 series, but I am torn between getting a single OEM replacement or the full dual stabilizer kit. Does anyone have any experience with the single replacement? Did it make a difference? I've heard really good things about the dual kit, but obviously the price difference is huge. I don't do a ton of off-roading, but I do drive constantly on crappy city roads which can be just as bad

Actually, Rancho themselves may have just answered my question.....but opinions are still appreciated!

I'm in the same boat. My truck has 65K miles and everything is stock. I would like to upgrade my steering stabilizer too.

I just rolled over 68k, so you're probably feeling the exact same stuff I am. I just spoke with a Rancho rep though and he actually recommended going with a single RS5000 OEM replacement. Apparently you would generally need a 2" lift/level to do either the RS5000 or 7000 dual kit, and a single 7000 would push too much to one side. I would be curious to hear from anyone whose gone through this. My suspension is stock and I don't plan on modifying it anytime soon.

I just went through this and ended up with a BDS Dual setup. In CO we have cement hwys with BAD seams and it made my steering wheel wobble BAD after I put the 35's on. I first tried a Bilstein 5100 single and it took about 70% of the wobble out but I wasn't happy with the 30% left. I then bought the BDS dual kit and I would say 95% is now gone. On asphalt roads the 5100 single did the job 100%.

Huh, interesting. Did you need a lift or level to accommodate the dual?

You're supposed to have 2.5 inch lift or more to mount on top, after talking to BDS they said it would work fine with shocks mounted on bottom with 2 in lift.
