Hello there,
I'm looking to replace my stock radio with a unit that has a built-in GPS, Backup Camera, Bluetooth for calls, etc.... Any recommendations without breaking the bank?
Thanks, Dennis
Thanks for posting. I have a F350 1999. How hard was it to install? I've been researching the install and it doesn't look to hard, just time consuming. Does the wiring harness match up or is there something more complicated?

Just buy the dash install kit and the wiring harness adapter and then it is fairly simple plug and play once you wire up the adapter.
This is about the 5th(and final) radio I've had in my truck and they all hook up about the same.
It's not completely plug and play in a '99 truck. When you remove the factory radio there will be a "lip" around the opening. You will have to grind/shave some of that lip down to install a Double Din radio. It is not a big deal since it will get covered up by the Double Din installation trim kit. I installed a Pioneer in my old truck and loved it. The kids loved it too.
I would get a Kenwood. They use Garmin for the navigation, and it's second to none. I've had two different models and they were both great. The only downfall is price.
All those other radios like pioneer and whatever are great but for the $269 I gave for the jensen they don't hold a candle to it.
I got my Pioneer for $250. I bought it on close out since the new model year had come out. I would say it was a pretty good deal. I only had $350 into my entire "entertainment" system including the drop down monitor (11").
I have a Pioneer AVIC-X920BT in my '07. Love the sound quality of Pioneer, but the navigation is kind of Finnicky. Just remember you get what you pay for.
