86 F250 460 Rear Fuel Pump

86 F250 460 Rear Fuel Pump
1986 F-250, 4x4, 460 7.5l, 4 speed manual.
Today I dropped the rear tank on my 86 F250 because the fuel level sending unit I suspected to be faulty. Which I found the brass float full of fuel due to a pinhole and when I plugged the assembly back in and move the arm the fuel gauge will move according to to arm position as it should.
The fuel pump worked and the truck ran great. Recently installed a brand new Edelbrock 1407 as well.
The issue is I cannot find the right fuel pump assembly. The pumps Oreilly's and Autozone carry don't look like the pump I pulled out.
This is the pump I pulled out and I'm beginning to think it's the wrong pump. It has a sticker with E5TF-9H307-FB and 10-13-99 2.
Can anyone verify? I cannot even find a pump for any year or model Ford that looks like the pump I removed or with that part number.

If the pump is working why not just change the float and call it a day?
The 460 trucks with the low pressure in-tank pumps are pretty unique.
No wonder it is difficult to find one.
The number printed on Ford parts is an engineering number, not the part number you would buy.
You need to check a parts catalog or have the dealer punch that engineering number in in order to get the proper part number.
I have the catalog on CD but no way to read it on a phone or tablet.

E5TF-9H307-FB ID engineering number is not listed in the Master Cross Reference Catalog or the 1980/89 Ford Truck Parts Catalog, but...
There are only two possible pumps for this application: 1985/86 F250/350 460:
E5TZ-9H307-E .. Fuel Pump & Sender Assy / User with Aft Axle PLASTIC Fuel Tank / Obsolete
E5TZ-9H307-FA (replaced E5TZ-9H307-F) .. Fuel Pump & Sender Assy / Use with Aft Axle STEEL Fuel Tank (Motorcraft PFS-130) / Obsolete
No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any of these 3 pump/senders.
After 1979, Ford did not sell the float by itself, it was only available with the sending unit. 1979 and earlier is not the same!

There are so many reply's here and not enough time to thank you all individually but I owe you all and big thank you. This forum has quite the group of very helpful people.
After burning up the internet for three days now this doesn't surprise me.
So... just thinking in the future here, what would I do in the future if my fuel pump goes out? Since this has whooped me pretty good I'd rather face this deal straight on and get it to where it's serviceable in the future.
Do I need another tank and purchase the appropriate fuel pump assembly for that tank or what?

The pump itself is available aftermarket and replaceable by itself.
Another possible solution is what I have done on my 460 truck due to large departures from stock with the rest of the fuel system. I removed the in tank pumps and put in an aftermarket inline on the engine side of the tank switch.

UPDATE
I bought a brass float through a somewhat random selection based on an eBay sellers very vague description and luckily it fits. It's not the "right" one but it will work and fit just like the factory float.
This is what I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/331362169694?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Not the best pictures but it's proof and maybe someone in the future will run across this same issue.
