Hey everybody, I apologize if I have incorrectly posted! I read too fast through terms and conditions, like and idiot! Anyway, I finally upgraded from my 2007 ford explorer to my my 2015 f350 lariat super duty crew cab long bed! Couldn't be happier! I love how quiet they are and yet pretty darn powerful. I wanna start getting a few things for it and wanted to ask you guys for some assistance and or advice! I wanna look for a headache rack that easily comes on and off. Ideally, one that's black and has the cut out for the slider window! HID kits, and air flow(if possible or makes sense) and exhaust! I thought I read somewhere you can't put exhaust on and wanted to clarify about the exhaust. And a few other things down the road! But that's a good start! Thanks for the help, consideration and time everyone. Excited to be apart of the site!
Where did you read that about the exhaust? Do you have a link for us? Thanks.
Heard straight from the salesman! Apparently
Something to do with the new exhaust clean burn system with the eurea or what have you. Obviously it's salesman but I figured it may be something that's true if he points that out! I can try to look for a link?!
I don't know that I'd mess with much of any powertrain stuff on a brand new truck. Don't give them a reason to void your warranty if anything should happen.
you could change out the exhaust after the DPF filter, but will need a system rated for the extra heat generated by the regen cycles or the pipes will turn blue. If you want to remove the entire exhaust system and replace with aftermarket you will need to do some emission deletes, which I would advise against on a truck under warranty.
Anything to do with the emissions now will require a tuner. If you want to do something after the DPF then you would not need to.
To do so though will not do much to the sound or to increase the mpgs.
As is the emissions is not a big issue. I say drive it for sometime before doing anything about that. Rather read up and educate yourself on how it all works.
I have a ranchhand headache rack on low profile tool box on mine. Works well with towing goosenecks and 5th wheels.

Hey guys thanks for all the rapid info and advice I really appreciate it! That's a sweet headache rack and tool box set up Senex! And to answer your question, ya I got the diesel! And poncho I agree I guess that it was more of a clarification regarding wether or not the dealer is just saying that or if it was actually true! I figured that it would be smart not to do much in the way of messing with the internals to void the warranty. They are so quick these days to blame the person for doing something as simple as exhaust or cold air so that they don't have to pay for it. It's just unfortunate! I have also decided to do a leveling kit to try to and get rid of the squat look! Thanks again for the advice and time fellas!
Senix I apologize autocorrect screwed up the spelling of your name! And thank you very much here is a few more pictures. I just had the bed liner done this weekend along with mud flaps and inner fenders!
And ya as of now I get about 14.3 average so says the deck!
Hey quick question for you guys! I am installing a leveling kit for her tomorrow! I was wondering based off a few things that a steering stabalizer may be a good idea. Thoughts? Anything else to consider?
