I have a 64 f100 short bed and the tank is still behind the seat. I am looking to move the tank but don't know the best place to put it! I plan on down the road tubbing it so am in need of some ideas! Would rather not have it in the bed but am open for suggestions!
Where at under the bed if you put it under the rear of the bed the narrowed axle would get in the way and is there room up at the front under the bed with the driveshaft being close to it?
I can't really answer that for you. If you have an idea how much you are going to tub it, get under there and start measuring to see what you have to work with. Then you can decide where you want to put it.
