Not yet, I'm still on the rig, was looking at purchasing the lift and having it delivered to the shop that will do the install, but if ordered from the shop it is a lot cheaper (go figure) after talking with the guy, the 6" is slightly more than the 4" (If I go with the 4", I'll change the spring packs in the rear). The way things are going out here, no way I can get the lift and install myself, apt to be called back at any minute (24 hour call).
We'll see, I like the looks of the 6", not sure it will be as "functional" as the 4".
I'm not going to tell you that towing isn't affected, but it isn't affected near as much as one would think. Obviously a fiver is going to be affected big time, but tags are no problem provided you aren't towing 30k. I pulled 5 wheelers full loaded on an enclosed trailer and never even came close to 10k. Bottom line, a lot of my buddies have 6" lifts and pull 10k trailers (they have heavy steel trailers) and they don't have any issues. Will there be down the line, maybe. I'd be willing to bey there driving habits contribute to any issues more than the lift.
Go for it. Maintain it. Drive it like you stole it. Those are my rules

We must have the same "rule book". Not too worried about a gooseneck, most anything I tow is bumper pull anyway.
We'll see, just anxious to get off this rig and get something moving one way or another, I got about as much patience as Roy!
Thanks for those links Randy. I prefer the look of 4" lift and 35's or 6" and 37's. I also prefer the look of the 37's on 20's vs 35's on 20's. I like to see a little more rubber on the rim.
Sometimes patience will get you a better result...Not that I'm a very patient person either, but I'll be waiting until next spring/summer before lifting.
'Bout decided on the 6" - 4 Link lift. Looking at some 22X10" Fuel Nutz (Machined & Black) and 37 x 13.5 x 22" Toyo Open Country MT's.
I'm suppossed to leave here and head home Sunday with no issues, hope to get the ball rolling soon thereafter. Got a pile of "honey do's" waiting though...3 weeks offshore and they add up!
It's all in good fun....I guess she has to be a smart azz after 26 years of putting up with me!
I know better than to suggest maybe I'm not the issue though!<IMG style="CURSOR: hand" id=vB_Editor_001_smilie_30 class=inlineimg title="Evil Grin" border=0 alt="" src="http://images.ford-trucks.com/forums/images/smilies2/evilgrin0007.gif" unselectable="on" editorid="vB_Editor_001">
Ford must have larger wheel wells than other brands. My Cummins has a 6" lift but the 35" tires rub slightly on the mud flaps. I see guys running 35's on Super Duty trucks with a 2" leveling kit or less.
Here is the finished product. This is the 4"- 4link BDS lift, the wheels are fuel rampage, 20" x10" (-19 offset), with 35x12.5x20 Toyo's, the only thing I'm skeptical about is the wheel offset, a little further past the fenders than I anticipated. Oh well, too late now.
I am happy with the height and stance though, the 4" on a super duty is higher than you expect!
I'll post some better, more detailed pics when I can. Heading back offshore in the morning.....gotta pay for the lift!
