2010 Super Duty Loosing power
New member. I have 2010 6.4 super duty. I'm loosing power on inclines towing a 13500 cyclone FW. It drops me to about 30 miles an hour and is burning fuel more than what I believe to be normal, 6-7 miles a gallon. I took to dealer and everything shows fine. Is this normal? Any ideas what can be causing this? The inclines are not high degrees. Normal highway hills. anyone with same issue towing with a similar truck? Would an air exhaust system, like banks help any?

That's the problem there, I hear the turbo kick in but no power. At first I thought it was the normal down shifting up hill. Once I saw all the other trailer flying by. I started to inquire and realize that 30 mph on a not so long and not too steep incline was not normal. I'm here in southern Cali and haven't tried the grapevine up fwy 5. I don't think I can make it and if I do I'll be there for quite a while. According to dealer turbo is fine. The truck though has been burning a lot fuel or a while now. I change the fuel filters and did an injector clean there at ford. Did not help. truck has a little over 66k miles. She's a baby to be giving me such a headache.

Have you gotten any info back from the dealer? Im curious to hear the verdict.
The only times my 6.4 has gone into limp mode was #1 it had a faulty EGT temp gauge in the exhaust pipe just behind the DPF. It threw a code and i replaced the sensor myself, all better.
#2 was when the DPF was full and the truck had not completed a successful regen in a while apparently (which to me was weird as i drove the rtuck 30 miles to work all highway and then 70 miles to my ranch to feed cattle after work and then 25 or so miles back home after feeding) so this case puzzled me. Since that limp mode i have put my truck on the Diet that everyone loves these trucks to go on.
The second case there was also a code thrown so the no code part from your truck really perplexes me.
I once had an intercooler hose blow off of the end of the turbo and it sounded like my entire truck self destructed but it was a small repair. This kept me from having any turbo pressure at all though as the turbo lost all compression i guess.
