The dealer road force balanced the XLT that I wanted. They found four bad tires and replaced with new. The truck has been on the lot since December! I took it out and drove it for about 20 miles. It drives and rides like a dream now. Job Jobbed!
I am very impressed with how they reacted, they were seriously concerned and obviously really wanted to sell this truck. Small dealerships can be great. I got an excellent deal well beyond the very good factory incentives!!
I'm picking it up in the morning.
I'll post a picture after I get it home.
Thanks to everyone that responded to my post. I think I might be on here a lot more in the future.
Fantastic news, FalcoDog; I'm happy to hear your dealership took excellent care of you. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if I can be of any assistance in the future; I'm always just a PM away.
You are correct. First things first; a bed liner, 3M clear mask and a hard cover or possibly a shell. She will get dual exhaust, possibly an intake and some better rubber eventually but I have a wife and a Focus ST that I just spent money on.
The SRAs will work, I waited till mine were wore out to replace. I almost went with the same tire but the Ford dealer got me a great price on the adventurers. I never used the clear mask, does it work good? The truck seems to be high enough not to get all the road hickeys like a car does. Tons of bed liner choices out there. I'm partial to Bed Rug and Bed Tred. You'll have to post a recording of the dual exhaust. I though about doing it but didn't want my truck to sound like a Gran Am.

That's awesome The EBoost sounds like a turbo and there's not much you can do about that. My ST exhaust sounds awful but the intake sounds pretty sweet. I've got time to consider options.
I had these same Goodyears on my Wrangler and aside from them wearing well and being quiet there's not much else to say about them. They are a compromise tire that suites the XLT version of the F150 well so they will do for now. I have GeoLanders on my Sport Trac and after 40k miles I'm pleased with them. Great tire on and off road and excellent in the snow but man they are NOISY.
The 3M tape works good. I've had a lot of bad experience with road rash. It seems I know how to find it.
I was looking at the Bed Rug that looks like spray on, pretty cool. Any idea what they cost?
You should be able to find one online around $375 including shipping. They are easy to install, one person can it with no problems. When I put mine in they didn't supply enough alcohol wipes. Also I put mine in when it was cold out side so it didn't really lay out nice till it was warmer. Looking back I should have taken it in the house to warm up before installing it.
