Good lift for 35s-39s

Hello everyone, I bought a 1977 f150 ranger and I want to put 35-38.5" tires under her. This is my first one and I don't know what lift to put on it, so if you professionals could help me out I'd really appreciate it, thanks

Daniel

Front

and depending on the rear axle they should be done also for 38's

You will also need to consider the gear ratio of the differentials .. You could make the truck undriveable with your current gear ratio and motor with 38's .. All these things have to be considered before you lay down the cash for those tires ..

Most often the F250 front axle will also be a Dana 44 but it uses leaf springs so wouldn't work for your coil spring front with out a lot of work ..

you need about 6" lift but you don't have to upgrade your 44 unless it is actually broken.

It depends what you use the truck for....how much hp you have....etc.

Where can I get bigger gears? I know it's a dumb question but here it goes, do I just have to replace just the old gears to get bigger gears? Or is there more to it than that?

Dependends on what your current carrier is (gear ratio)
for example
Motive DANA 44 - Ring & Pinion 4.56 THICK
