As far as I'm concerned the truck is a 1967 Ford F100 4x4 with a 352. I'm guessing this is how it came from the factory. Not sure how I can go about decoding all the numbers. I looked up a decoder online but was given wrong information. (Saying the truck is a 1976 F100 with a 360.)
Either way, any information is much appreciated.

Wow, didn't realize how much information you could get from the door code. Awesome information, thanks!

7311798:
73 = Salt Lake City UT Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.
11798 = Domestic Special Order number, this truck was not "bought off the lot."
Per the original purchasers order, FoMoCo sent the truck out after it left the assembly line to have special equipment installed that would not have been an RPO (Regular Production Order).
Could have been some type of "back of cab" equipment like a Utility Bed, or a step front bumper w/a winch installed, or?
Since martiauto.com has all the original FoMoCo records for 1967/79 vehicles, you could contact him with the VIN and ask for a copy of its original build sheet. Marti charges a fee for this service.
I have a '67 mercury m250 and my DSO is A68482 I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the A6 is I've been searching for hours online and can't find it any info at all. Possibly Alberta?? As far as I know that's where the truck is from.
