1967 Ford VIN Decode

As far as I'm concerned the truck is a 1967 Ford F100 4x4 with a 352. I'm guessing this is how it came from the factory. Not sure how I can go about decoding all the numbers. I looked up a decoder online but was given wrong information. (Saying the truck is a 1976 F100 with a 360.)
Either way, any information is much appreciated.

Here is a photo of the whole door tag.

VIN: F11YRB40355 / WB: 131 / COLOR: U / MODEL: F110 / BODY: L81 / TRANS: A / AXLE: 08 / MAX GVW LBS: 5600 / CERT NET HP: 172 / RPM: 4000 / DSO: 7311798
F11 = F100 4WD

Y = 352 2V

R = San Jose CA Assembly Plant.

B40355 = 1967, assembled June 1967.

131" Wheelbase.

U = Lunar Green.

F110 = F100 4WD, 5,600 lbs. GVWR

L81: L = Medium Green Petticrush Vinyl & Medium Green Leeds Pattern Woven Plastic / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.

A = New Process 435 4 Speed Manual Transmission.

08 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.50-1 / No Limited Slip / 3,300 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

5,600 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

172 net HP @ 4,000 RPM

7311798:

73 = Salt Lake City UT Ford District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

11798 = Domestic Special Order number, this truck was not "bought off the lot."

Per the original purchasers order, FoMoCo sent the truck out after it left the assembly line to have special equipment installed that would not have been an RPO (Regular Production Order).

Could have been some type of "back of cab" equipment like a Utility Bed, or a step front bumper w/a winch installed, or?

Since martiauto.com has all the original FoMoCo records for 1967/79 vehicles, you could contact him with the VIN and ask for a copy of its original build sheet. Marti charges a fee for this service.

Ford Motor Co. of Canada Ltd.

A6 = Western (Ford) District Sales Office, where the original selling dealer ordered the truck from.

8482 = Domestic Special Order number. Truck was ordered special by the original purchaser, not "bought off the lot."

Scroll down to District Codes, then look at column right.

1966/68 Ford & Mercury trucks assembled in Canada use the same 11 digit VIN, Warranty Plate and codes stamped thereon as US trucks.

1965 and earlier assembled in Canada Ford & Mercury trucks use a Canadian only VIN, Warranty Plate and codes.
