Tranny problem

Hey, tranny gone in 4.6 powered truck, guy down the road has one out of a 6.8 v10 that's been rebuilt, I know they have the same bellhousing, but would it work in the truck with the computer and everything?

Not normally a boltin replacement.
The converter and flywheel and even the mounting has differences.
Your trying to go from the largest v8 to the smallest v8.
Not close enough.
