Those wheel look safe... ?

I would say the builder didn't consult with our resident expert ... Truckdog

The wheels are okay, they're the side ring/lock ring style. I'm puzzled by the fat low profile tires. Look like they belong on Dubs, not Budds. Stu

They look like 20's for a modern SUV. I'm wondering what he used for tubes in them?

This setup can't possibly be OK. Those are modern, tubeless 20" car/light truck tires, stuffed onto 20" tube type wheels. This is exactly why the .5" sizes were made for tubeless tires and wheels. Without the massive, steel reinforced tube type bead on the tire to put pressure on the lock ring, I can't imagine these will stay together long. The one piece lock rings are probably the only reason it worked at all. If the lock rings had splits, I would bet they would have blew right off!

What does it say about the shop that probably sold and mounted them? Mindless. Stu

It's mind boggling.

The top is chopped, requiring far more skill than I possess. But the mirror holes in the drivers door and the rotted cab corner were just painted over. Those are new tires with the stickers still on them. Chrome taillights and mounts with a 50 cent flatbed.

I just don't get it. Why bother?

Jolly Roger Joe expressed my thoughts perfectly. I just don't get it either.

I think those are bullet holes in the driver's door. Other than that; yeah, what you said.

To each his own, I guess.

You guys were complaining in another thread that the 5-Star cab didn't have cup holders. This truck has cup holders.

I like how he removed the front crossmember, so the front ends of the springs can just wobble back and forth.

In the second wreck shown, I like the unprotected air filter. Right where any road debris can puncture it. Engines don't like to run very long when they've been sanded. Wow, turbo and roots type charging.
