Fords everywhere!
First off, Fords run in my family. i have Fords. My dad has Fords. His dad has fords and his dad drove Fords.
Up until he retired, my Grandpa was known as 'the Ford guy' here in Coos County. My daily driver is a 02 Ranger 4wd but the reason I joined is hopefuly soon I will be starting on a 66 F100 SWB. It has a fair amount of rust but I learned about that nasty stuff with the 77 CJ7 I had.
The truck is a 289 / 3 on tree currently. I might go to a floor shifter at some point but the column shift is growing on me. My plan is to lower it 4-5" with spring under in the rear and crown vic suspension in the front. Also I have a pair of Mustang bucket seats I am thinking of using. It has been sitting a lot of years so I have a lot to do before I get that far. My plan is to leave the body rough for a sort of rat rod feel.

A little background on me, I had a Honda TRX250X towards the end of high school that I sold so I could buy the CJ7. That is where my username comes from. On my first local jeep club outing (a windy day on the dunes with tops off), I was leaning for a hat that blew out of my friends Jeep, reached just a little too far and fell out on to the sand.
I Wheeled and wrenched on the CJ7 for about 4 years until I got back into ATV's. I Sold the Jeep and currently have an 85 ATC250R and a 86 Kawasaki Tecate 3 plus another 3 wheeler project I might share at some point.

This will be my first street truck but between my dad, his business partner and our other friend, we have 4 64-66 Ford trucks including my 66. Plus lots of parts.
